Meh. Waaaay overdue update.

Next TCL chapter (the colliding worlds) - Part done. working at writing in cameos I just feel I have to get in.

Work - Had upgrade for 6-7 weeks now. And seen, mostly, an increase of roughly 1.5k/week. However, we are currently down four staff members from when we were taking in 5.2k/week. ANd now are doing around 7k/week. Such fun. Given the lack is mostly down to head office being idiots and taking months to approve vacancies they know we need.

Of the five meats for the carved sandwiches (Gammon daily, and rotating weekly between Roast beef, Pork, Cumberland Sausage and Salt Beef) we've already been told to stop selling the sausage one. Because Aberdeen were pretty much the only one of the 25 carvery units that sold any. And typically for this cut back, it was one of our biggest sellers. But we have it back for this week luckily. Because some moron at Head office managed to accidentally delete all the carvery unit orders for Prok that we were due to sell this week. So we've had to do the sausage one as all ingredients are stocked in the M&S Foodhalls.

In oher news, I'd love to move to Leicester. To be with some new friends. But more because it's more central to events and meets through the site I help with. But even more because it's dirt cheap compared to Aberdeen. My Bedsit is £400/month. When I was down there, the house I was in was £480/month. And of the two public rooms, four bedrooms, basement, attic and garden (and obv. kitchen and bathroom) my whole flat is smaller than the kitchen and neighbouring public room.

But at the same time I don't want to move because of the friends up here. And the job, which I know I can't transfer as there isn't a Compass unit the Leicester M&S. Nearest is Birmingham, and they aren't looking for staff.

So I wanna move for cost, and facilities and friends. But I don't wanna move because of Friends. ANd the job I have...

Boy Does Aberdeen being so overpriced suck. IT may be the oil capital of Europe (hence the high pricing). But it's also, to my knowledge, the student capital of Scotland, if not the UK. Yet prices don't reflect this bit.

But meh. Tis nice outside. I think I may shift to my netbook and go out and browse in the sun. ^^
